Description

BKK Spear-21 UVO Treble Hook

UV light is able to penetrate down into the water much deeper than visible light.

The BKK Spear-21 UVO was developed especially for use in fresh water, to give anglers optimal chances even in difficult light conditions, particularly in deep and dark waters. BKK’s bright orange UV coating provides high contrast, visibility and shine as soon as UV light is present in the water column. This colour remains recognisable to predators even at greater depths, since UV light can penetrate much deeper into the water than visible light, which is filtered out quickly.

The hook has a round bend and a fine wire (1X) that allows quick, deep penetration. The super-strong yet flexible carbon steel material (BKK-81WV) ensures lasting sharpness with every bite. The precisely forged hook shank increases strength by up to 20%, further increasing the hook’s durability. Thanks to its moderate leg length, the hook is suitable for use with a wide variety of lures, including floating and crank baits, minnows and topwater lures.
