Description

Silent Stick 3.5 – the new lure from BRUTUS

We introduce the Silent Stick 3.5 from BRUTUS – the new model of our successful soft bait!

Background

The big brother, the Silent Stick 6 inch, has long established itself as a standard at Lake Biwa and delivered impressive catches. To also succeed in situations where only smaller lures bring success, the more compact 3.5-inch model has now been developed.

Versatile uses

The Silent Stick 3.5 is compatible with numerous rigs, including:

Jig head
Mid strolling
Swimming
Hover strolling
I-hook rig
Prop hook
Bamast

It shows excellent lure posture especially with an I-shaped pull.

Design & colours

Available in 8 colour variants – from clear to matte, including the most popular colours of the 6-inch model.
Well-thought-out body design with deep ribs for improved water resistance.
Specially shaped tail fins produce subtle micro-vibrations that entice big fish.
Developed to reliably trigger bites even in difficult conditions.

The action – “micro-vibration jighead swimming”

The strength of the Silent Stick lies in its unobtrusive movement:

No rolling of the body – instead only a subtly twitching tail.
Realistic swimming behaviour that imitates natural baitfish.
Ideal for fine presentations when flashy lures fail.

Rigging recommendations:

Recommended jig head: Gamakatsu “Horizon Head”, size #1.
Weights: for beginners 0.9 g, 1.3 g or 1.8 g.
Adjustable from 0 g (hook only) to 7 g – depending on the situation.
Thanks to its balanced design, the Silent Stick swims stably even with slightly slanted rigging.

Retrieve styles:

I-shape retrieve: straight, natural guidance to attract fish.
I-shape + slight shaking: micro-vibrations provide the decisive bite.
Drifting in currents: especially effective in rivers, bays or lake currents.
High-speed retrieve: stays stable and does not jump out of the water.

Further uses

As a trailer for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits.
Also effective with offset hooks, especially in weedy waters.
More applications in future – tests are already under way.

The Silent Stick 3.5 is not simply a scaled-down model but a lure specially developed for catching trophy fish. Subtle, versatile, effective – exactly the right tool for demanding conditions.
