Daiwa Certate SW 5000-XH

With the new Certate SW, DAIWA offers an extremely robust saltwater reel for demanding fishing. The name Certate stands for reliability, and the highest engineering in reel technology goes into the next round. Further improved in function and even more robust – that is the new 21 Certate SW 5000-XH – made in Japan.

Thanks to the MQ construction, the drive gear can be made up to 40% larger than is usual in normal reels of this size, which significantly increases power transmission and service life. The construction of larger teeth in the drive gear further improves the service life of the gearbox, and the MQ construction provides optimal, torsion-resistant mounting of the gearbox in the reel body. The special painting process prevents corrosion under the paint layer. The ATD drag system in combination with the high-quality carbon-fibre drag washers ensures optimal line release under load without high initial resistance and a long service life even with frequent extreme fights – ideal for medium tuna, dogtooth tuna and GT! With an extra-loud drag clicker!
