Description
DRT ARTEX “R2” GEN3 – the ultimate evolution for technical big baiting
The DRT ARTEX “R2” GEN3 is the result of more than five years of development and continuous refinement. It was developed for anglers who expect maximum precision, directness and sensitivity in big-bait fishing.
The highly sensitive blank combines medium- to high-modulus carbon with a fast, progressive action, drawing on the legendary taper of the original “RazzleDazzle” – developed further to a new performance level.
The sensitive tip and the balanced overall character make it possible to feel even the smallest changes in current, contact with structure or irregularities of the bottom immediately, even at long distance.
This makes the R2 GEN3 suitable not only for active swimbait fishing, but also for technically demanding applications such as worming or deep heavy cranking.
New J-GRIP Straight – more control and ergonomics
One of the most important innovations of the GEN3 is the reworked J-GRIP in straight design.
The step present on the previous split-grip version has been removed. This means less contact with the forearm and the rod sits much more naturally in the hand when working the lure.
Especially with aggressive jerks and fast, powerful retrieve styles, the new grip design allows more direct power transmission and even faster response.
The new grip geometry also shows its full advantages with large lures that are technically demanding to work, such as the DRT Klash9.
Precision meets power reserve
The new colour scheme in elegant black and grey tones deliberately recalls the characteristic style of the original model.
The blank combines exceptionally precise and sensitive lure control with a powerful backbone reserve that is reliably available when fighting big fish.
The ARTEX “R2” GEN3 is thus an uncompromising big-bait rod for anglers who do not simply want to throw heavy lures, but seek maximum control over lure, structure and fish.
DRT ARTEX “R2” GEN3 – developed for uncompromising control, maximum sensitivity and precise lure presentation in technical big-bait fishing.
